You describe the change. You see it. You publish.
Editing at FWRD is one conversation: you type what should be different in plain language, the AI applies it, and you see the result in the preview right next to it. Publishing is one button, and going back is always possible.
From idea to live, in five steps.
Open Chat. In your site menu, under Edit, sits the Chat tab. One input field, reading "Ask a question or describe a change". A question costs credits like any chat turn, usually 8 or less.
Describe what should be different. In plain language: "make the big headline at the top shorter", "add a pricing section", "put in my new opening hours". The AI narrates what it is doing: thinking, updating your site, saving changes.
Watch along in the preview. Your real site sits next to the chat. Show preview and Hide preview slide it in and out of view. Previewing is free, so you keep talking until it is right.
Publish changes. Happy? Then hit Publish changes. A few minutes later your visitors see the new version. Publishing costs no credits.
Roll back if it was not what you meant. Every publish records a restore point under Version history. Restore this version puts your site back the way it was, and republishes it.
Four places where you edit.
They work on the same site and the same drafts, so you pick whatever is fastest for the job at hand.
- ChatDescribing in plain language, with the preview beside it. Fastest for copy, sections and one-off questions.
- Site builderIf you would rather click. Blocks, copy, colours and navigation by hand, with the same preview and the same publish button.
- Version historyEvery publish is a restore point. You view an older version first and then put it back.
- Claude, Cursor or VS CodeEditing from the assistant you already have open. Under Account, at MCP access, you create a token and connect it.
What editing does not do.
- Your change does not go live by itselfWhat you change in chat or the builder sits in your draft and your preview first. Publishing is a separate button. If you do want the agent to publish on its own, you switch that on separately at the report.
- No code in your pagesYou edit blocks, copy, images and settings. Your own HTML, CSS or scripts inside your pages do not belong here.
- No webshopOrders, stock and checkout need an e-commerce platform. For that we point you to a partner.
- Not unlimited and freePreviews and publishing cost nothing. Every chat turn costs credits, a question included: usually 8 or less, never more than 17. What a turn cost you see afterwards under Account, in Usage.
Which plan it belongs to
Editing is in every plan, the free one included. It runs on the credits in your plan, and every plan has a monthly bundle: Free 30, Grow 300, Pro 800. Nothing is ever added to your bill automatically. A question or change usually costs 8 credits or less, a new page more, and a turn never more than 17. Unused credits carry over to the next month, up to 600 on Grow and 1,600 on Pro.
What does depend on your plan is where it lands. On the free plan your site is live on a fwrd.digital address or your own domain, and findable in Google for 90 days, free, from the moment you switch it on. Staying findable comes with Grow. See the plans

Can I edit the copy myself?
Yes. You edit copy and sections directly in the FWRD editor, or ask the AI to do it for you. No developer, no technical knowledge needed. You see every change in a preview first; publishing takes one click.
How often can I change something?
As often as you like. Previewing and publishing are free. Every chat turn costs credits: a question or change usually costs 8 or less, a new page more, and never more than 17 per turn. Unused credits carry over to the next month, up to 600 on Grow and 1,600 on Pro.
Do I need to know how to code?
Not at all. Tell the agent who you are and what you do, and it builds your site. After that, change anything by hand or just tell it what you want: "make the big headline at the top shorter," "add a gallery." No code, ever.
What if I run out of credits?
Then the system waits for your next monthly bundle, or you upgrade to a bigger plan. Nothing unexpected ever happens: nothing is ever added to your bill automatically. Unused credits carry over to the next month, up to 600 on Grow and 1,600 on Pro.
Change your site while you talk about it.
